Otuko - DR. E.T.S. Adriko

OTUKO is a tale of the many anthills in the life of Dr Adriko. A life filled with many
green fields for a son of a police detective sergeant. From Mvara in Arua to Budo and
London where he became an academic giant, always coming out on top of his class.
It is a story of the challenges of starting a faculty at Makerere University later leaving
it to start the first indigenous Ugandan engineering consultancy firm which birthed
the first wholly Ugandan owned distilling company.

It is a unique story of the ups and downs in the life of one of the few Ugandan
industrialists who has been in business for half a century. A glimpse into the intricate
corridors of power in the early days of the National Resistance Movement leadership,
the politics and goings on in the boardrooms of both Public and Private Institutions.
This is a summation of a life lived in business, politics, industry, academia and serving
humanity.
