We handle the personal data that you provide to us in the context of your order with care. We only use these for processing your order and for our invoice administration. The data will not be used for advertising purposes. Selling the data to third parties is not an issue. For sending the books, a third party is usually used. The shipping receipts are stored for a maximum of 2 years (the current year and the previous year) in order to be able to prove delivery of the order.

No IP addresses and the like are stored. We make limited use of Google Analytics. This data is anonymised and will be stored for 26 months. No pixel has been placed on the website.

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. Complaints
If you have a complaint, we find it very annoying. We would like to ask you to send an email first so that we can see together what went wrong and how we can solve it.
If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur.

Thank you for ordering a book from africanbook.shop . Here are some important things about shipping and possible returns.
Shipping costs
The contribution to the shipping costs is three euros per order. For this we send your order as a letterbox package or as a regular package. We pack it nicely and with care and send all kinds of nice extras to make receiving and unpacking even more fun.
Shipping time
We ship your order as soon as possible, often the same day. If the book has not yet been published, we will send it as soon as possible after the publication date. You will receive a track and trace when your package is packed.
Return
If you want to return the order (of course we hope not), you can. Make sure the book is not damaged. More about this can be found in the General Terms and Conditions.
