Fingerprints of the devil - Godwin Muwanguzi

Ulombe, a tiny nation, is troubled; there is fetid injustice, but
no one speaks about it—condemning lawlessness is
treasonous and vulgar. Storytellers are at significant risk in
the country, and so many people have died with untold
stories. But her primary teacher taught Lawoko, the
protagonist, that it was crucial to tell stories regardless of
the circumstance.
Lawoko is a victim of a marginalised society. So she
narrates her story; one of impunity, hypocrisy, murder by
the state, oppression, tribalism, poverty, dictatorship, and
corruption. She mirrors how the unbearable totalitarian
rule by the narcissistic regime later leads to a revolutionary
awakening.
